Jaunpur

Established and Founded in the 14th Century by Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq, Jaunpuris known for its rich Mughal heritage. Near about 60 kms away from Varanasi, Jaunpuris also famous for its Indo-Islamic style architecture also known as Sharqi style.

The Atala Masjid, The Jama Masjid (resembling Delhi's famous Jama Masjid) and Shahi Bridge are prime examples of the beautiful architecture. Jaunpurrose to fame when SharqiDynasti took its reign in the 15th Century, it became a hub of education, trade and art.
